Description
A vibrant traditional Chinese scroll painting by Zou Fuming (鄒富明, 1938– ), depicting blooming peonies surrounded by lively bees. Executed in expressive ink and colour, the composition showcases the classic symbolism of the peony — prosperity, honour, and the fullness of spring.
Zou’s brushwork contrasts bold, textured branches with soft, luminous petals in rich reds and pinks, while the bees add movement and vitality. The artist’s inscription and seal appear on the right side of the painting.
Mounted on light silk with black lacquered scroll ends.
