Our Mission

At Colours Across Art Gallery, our mission is to make meaningful collecting accessible, personal, and lasting.

We proudly represent exceptional contemporary artists, whose original works bring fresh perspectives and emotional depth to today’s homes. Alongside these powerful voices, we curate a selection of pre-owned artworks, each chosen for its history, character, and ability to speak across time.

Our name, Colours Across, reflects what brings these worlds together — a belief in the power of art to connect people, cultures, and generations, crossing boundaries of place and memory.

Whether newly created or previously cherished, every piece we offer invites a deeper connection — and a new chapter.

Our Story

Colours Across began as a personal journey — a quiet passion for collecting artworks that carried not just beauty, but memory and soul. Drawn to pieces with history and presence, we found joy in discovering art that felt lived-in, layered, and full of meaning.

What started as a collection soon became something larger: a gallery dedicated to connecting people through art — whether through the rediscovery of pre-loved works or the celebration of bold, original pieces by the remarkable living artists we proudly collaborate with.

At the heart of Colours Across is a belief that art can cross boundaries — of time, place, and culture — creating unexpected connections and lasting impressions. Every piece we share, whether passed on or newly created, is chosen for its ability to speak, to move, and to continue its story in someone else’s life.

About the Founder

I’m Kasia, the founder of Colours Across Art Gallery.

My relationship with art began in childhood, in a home where beauty was quietly valued. Though my parents weren’t formal collectors, the few paintings we had were chosen with care and emotional intuition. That early exposure shaped my eye and instilled a deep appreciation for art that carries meaning — not just in its form, but in its presence.

Originally from Poland and now based in the UK, I’ve spent my adult life surrounded by ideas and creativity, including many years at the University of Cambridge. Along the way, I nurtured my own artistic practice through photography and studied with The Photography Institute to sharpen my sensibility for composition, texture, and emotional depth.

In 2018, a friendship with a Chinese painter reignited a quiet longing I had carried for years — to collect art that speaks across cultures and moments. That impulse evolved into Colours Across: a curated space where each piece is selected with intention, whether it comes from a living artist or carries the quiet marks of past ownership.

This gallery is shaped by my aesthetic — by what moves me, by the balance I seek between boldness and restraint, colour and silence, and the meaningful pauses in between — what the Japanese call Ma (間). If what you find here resonates with you, then that connection is likely to be lasting. I see my role as a guide, offering not just artworks, but a way of seeing — across time, place, and emotion.
