Aynur Elif Boyraz
Description:
This piece is one of my earlier works. The calligraphy itself was created by another artist, but the intricate floral artwork and ornamentation are entirely mine. The piece is painted on traditional handmade cardboard, which I personally dyed using hibiscus and onion skins, creating the warm, natural tones that surround the composition. The gold detailing in the center is made of real 24-karat gold, adding a timeless glow to the sacred verse.
The central calligraphy reads:
"Bismillahirrahmanirrahim" — meaning “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”
This verse holds deep spiritual importance in Islam, appearing many times throughout the Quran and recited by Muslims daily.
Although this artwork currently resides in Turkey, it continues to attract interest from many admirers. If sold, I will bring it back to share with its new owner.
